Baseball Game Preview: Morris Bulldogs vs. Mott Haven Mavericks

Morris and Mott Haven are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Morris' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Mott Haven has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Morris will bounce into Friday's match after beating Washington, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 7-4 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Mott Haven came up short against Manhattan Center for Science & Math on Friday and fell 4-1.

Morris now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Mott Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Morris' way against Mott Haven in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Morris made off with an 11-2 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mavericks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
