Volleyball Game Preview: Academy of Central Florida National Golden Bulls vs. Lyman Greyhounds

The Academy of Central Florida National Golden Bulls are taking a road trip to square off against the Lyman Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Academy of Central Florida National will be strutting in after a win while Lyman will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Academy of Central Florida National turned things around against Seminole on Monday. They blew past the Seminoles 3-0.

Academy of Central Florida National never let Seminole on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Lyman faced Lake Brantley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Lyman fell just short of Lake Brantley by a score of 3-2. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lyman started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 21-25, 25-19, 25-15, 16-14.

Lyman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Academy of Central Florida National, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.
