Volleyball Recap: Union Mine Takes a Loss

Union Mine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the El Dorado Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.

Union Mine's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for El Dorado, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Union Mine will square off against rival Rosemont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, El Dorado is set to face off against their familiar foe Bradshaw Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
