Volleyball Recap: Grant County Comes Up Short

Grant County lost against Simon Kenton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Braves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grant County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 16-11. As for Simon Kenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grant County will host Boone County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Simon Kenton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dixie Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
