Baseball Recap: Cross County Thunderbirds vs. East Poinsett County Warriors

Cross County won against Bay last Friday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Cross County Thunderbirds had just enough and edged the East Poinsett County Warriors out 10-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for Cross County.

Cole Johnson made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off two hits. Johnson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
