Basketball Recap: Mount Royal Academy Takes a Loss

Mount Royal Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 62-15 defeat at the hands of Holy Family Academy. The Knights lost against Holy Family Academy in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 66-44 score last time.

Mount Royal Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Holy Family Academy, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Mount Royal Academy will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Wilton-Lyndeborough at 6:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Holy Family Academy, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Woodsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodsville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Holy Family Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
