Baseball Recap: Buhler Takes a Loss

Buhler lost against Collegiate on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders came up short against the Spartans, falling 18-5. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buhler's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Collegiate, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buhler will square off against El Dorado at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Collegiate, they will head out to square off against Augusta at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Orioles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
