Softball Recap: Ambridge Takes a Loss

Ambridge managed to slip by West Allegheny the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ambridge Bridgers lost 9-0 to the West Allegheny Indians on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bridgers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ambridge dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for West Allegheny, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ambridge will head out to challenge Penn Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Allegheny, they will venture away from home to take on Baldwin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
