Volleyball Recap: GALA Takes a Loss

GALA's tournament run continued when they took on Roosevelt on Saturday. The Goddesses fell 2-0 to the Rough Riders. The Goddesses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Roosevelt was led to victory by Kaley Munoz and Dalia Sanchez. Munoz had seven digs and four aces, while Sanchez had 13 digs. Sanchez has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

GALA's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Roosevelt, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-7.

Coincidentally, GALA and Roosevelt will both be playing Sun Valley Magnet the next time they take the court. The Rough Riders will head out to face the Pioneers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Goddesses will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
