Baseball Recap: Keota Takes a Loss

Keota lost against North Mahaska back in May, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Warhawks by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Keota and nudges their season record down to 4-7. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for North Mahaska, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Keota didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against H-L-V on the 19th. As for North Mahaska, they have also already played their next game, a 16-0 defeat against Lynnville-Sully on the 19th.
