Basketball Recap: New England Comes Up Short

New England was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 47-39 to the South Heart Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 53-47 defeat last Tuesday.

New England's record now sits at 5-19. As for South Heart, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-16 record this season.

As of now, neither New England nor South Heart have any future games scheduled.
