Football Recap: Whiteface's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Whiteface had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Garden City Bearkats on Friday as they made off with a 58-36 victory. Given the Antelopes' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Bearkats are ranked 63rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the seventh in a row for Whiteface, bringing their record up to 9-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. As for Garden City, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Coming up, Whiteface will square off against Booker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Antelopes will need to watch out since the Kiowas have now posted at least 31 points in their last eight contests. Garden City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
