Somerset is a perfect 6-0 against Danville since August of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Briar Jumpers will head out to take on the Admirals at 6:30 p.m. Somerset is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Somerset came up short against Wayne County and fell 3-1.

While Somerset had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 16-25, 25-19, 25-22.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Danville and Garrard County, and Garrard County kept the tradition alive. The Admirals fell 3-1 to the Golden Lions last Thursday.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Somerset, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-12.

Somerset was able to grind out a solid victory over Danville in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Briar Jumpers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
