Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Thomas Aquinas walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the South Plantation Paladins 40-6. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Thomas Aquinas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sherice Newton, who threw for 229 yards and four TDs while completing 82.6% of her passes. Newton has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played. Maja Varhalmi helped Newton out on the ground, picking up 42 receiving yards and three scores.

St. Thomas Aquinas didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited South Plantation to a completion percentage of just 40.7%.
