Basketball Recap: Coolidge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Coolidge lost against St. Frances Academy back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Colts took a 66-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Coolidge got some senior leadership from Eric Turner and Kevin Jackson Jr.. Turner went 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points and seven rebounds, while Jackson Jr. shot 57% from the field on his way to 20 points. Jackson Jr. is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Perry, who posted 11 points.

Coolidge now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Frances Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coolidge has already played their next contest (against Roosevelt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Frances Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gilman at 7:00 p.m.
