Page extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 26-6-1. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Summit Spartans. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 11-9 victory on Thursday.

Peyton Wendorf made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Page let MacKenzie Smith and Riley Vaughan run wild. Smith got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, while Vaughan went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Vaughan is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Isabel Melton was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

Page always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Summit only posted an OBP of .355.

As for Summit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-18. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs.

On Summit's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paityn Robertson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Audrey Cathey, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Page will welcome Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
