Baseball Recap: Holton Comes Up Short

Holton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the St. Marys Bears. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Holton's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for St. Marys, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Holton beat the Bears by a score of 5-3 later that day.
