Recap: South Dearborn Knights vs. Pendleton County Wildcats
The South Dearborn Knights won the last time they faced the Pendleton County Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. South Dearborn walked away with a 54-41 victory over Pendleton County. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Dearborn.
South Dearborn had a senior duo take command as Adam Kunkel scored 13 points along with six assists and six rebounds and Brodie Teke scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Peyton Hill was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
South Dearborn's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pendleton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Dearborn and Switzerland County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Switzerland County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 172 points over their last three matches. Pendleton County and Scott will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Scott is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
