Volleyball Recap: Indian Creek Takes a Loss

Indian Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Steubenville Big Red. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Big Red this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-12.

When it comes to explaining why Indian Creek lost, don't look at Gabby Taylor. Despite the final result, she had 14 assists and three digs. Taylor has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Indian Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Steubenville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Indian Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Buckeye Local on the 11th. As for Steubenville, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Toronto on the 11th.
