The Judson Rockets will be defending their home-field for the first timethey go up against the Hutto Hippos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Judson is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after opening their season on the road. They fell to Johnson 27-21.

Stefek threw for 225 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes while Anderson picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Fields, who picked up 68 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Judson was able to grind out a solid victory over Hutto in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, winning 29-19. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Hutto's Will Hammond, who rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 183 yards and a touchdown.
