Michael Vasquez put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns. His passing game has become a key predictor of Mt. Diablo's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Vasquez and Mt. Diablo will be playing in front of their home fans against Benicia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vasquez had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in October of 2023 26-17.
