Volleyball Game Preview: Bishop England Battling Bishops vs. Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Bishop England Battling Bishops and the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Bishop England is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Hartsville with a sharp 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-16.

Bishop England's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jules Gallo, who had eight digs and five aces. That's the most digs Gallo has posted over her last eight contests. Grace Stroud was another key player, getting 19 digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Bishop England was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are a perfect 11-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Gray Collegiate Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over May River on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

While Gray Collegiate Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: May River scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 28-26.

Bishop England's record now sits at 20-11. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, their record is now 22-4.

Bishop England was able to grind out a solid win over Gray Collegiate Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, winning 2-0. Do the Battling Bishops have another victory up their sleeve, or will the War Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
