Soccer Recap: Jefferson vs. Dawson County
On Thursday, the Jefferson Dragons got the win against the Dawson County Tigers by a conclusive 4-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Jefferson.
Jefferson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Dawson County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6-1.
Jefferson will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln County at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Hopefully Jefferson is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Georgia (they are ranked 90th, while Lincoln County is ranked 364th). As for Dawson County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Creekview at 7:30 p.m. on April 9th. Dawson County is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season.
