Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. Brooklyn Hurricanes

Trinity has gone 8-2 against Brooklyn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. Trinity knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Brooklyn likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Trinity was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 61-55 to Valley Forge.

Trinity might have lost, but man, Uchenna Njoku was a machine: he went 7-for-11 to rack up 17 points and seven rebounds. Njoku has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jordan Campbell, who posted 12 points along with seven boards and six assists.

Brooklyn not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 20th (when they won 73-41). They were the clear victors by a 73-47 margin over Wickliffe. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Brooklyn, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Trinity came out on top in a nail-biter against Brooklyn in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 55-53. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hurricanes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
