Southern Regional hadn't done well against Manchester Township recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Southern Regional Rams strolled past the Manchester Township Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 56-41. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Manchester Township saw an underclassman step up: freshman Savannah Jackson posted ten points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for Jackson. The team also got some help courtesy of Marisiya Goins, who had five points and four steals.

With the win, Southern Regional broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Manchester Township, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.
