Volleyball Recap: North Pitt Falls to Martin County in First Game of Season

North Pitt unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Martin County Gators on Monday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

While North Pitt was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-23.

Looking ahead, North Pitt will square off against Greene Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Martin County, they will host Hobgood Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
