Volleyball Recap: Weed Find Success + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Weed had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Maxwell Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

While Weed might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Maxwell scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Maci Phillips paced Weed's offense, picking up 14 kills. Phillips got some help from Audrey Mayberry and her 17 assists. Brooklynn Bivens controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Weed's victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Maxwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-15.

Looking ahead, Weed will challenge Etna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. Maxwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
