Flag Football Recap: Akyra Dale and Nijaye Swift Pace Millennium Defense

Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Basha Bears.

Even if they lost, Millennium's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Akyra Dale and Nijaye Swift, who racked up four sacks between them.

Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Basha, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Millennium wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-0 loss against Pinnacle on the 9th. As for Basha, they have also already played their next contest, a 21-14 victory against Liberty on the 14th.
