Softball Recap: Field's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Field waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Coventry Comets get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Field's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Coventry, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Field will square off against Cloverleaf at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Coventry, they will welcome Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Comets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
