Soccer Recap: Bishop Kelley Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Bishop Kelley finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell just short of the Coweta Tigers by a score of 1-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Bishop Kelley couldn't quite close it out.

Bishop Kelley's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Coweta, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Bishop Kelley has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Nathan Hale on the 17th. As for Coweta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against McAlester on the 17th.
