Baseball Recap: Loogootee Lions vs. Mitchell Bluejackets
Loogootee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-8 to the Mitchell Bluejackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Loogootee of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Loogootee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Lengacher, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs.
