Baseball Recap: Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish vs. Madison Southern Eagles
While Knoxville Catholic's win against Madison Southern wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Fighting Irish had just enough and edged out the Eagles 8-7. The Fighting Irish have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles on Friday, too.

Knoxville Catholic got several good pitching performances, but Tyler Slatas was perhaps the best, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The Fighting Irish are 5-1-1 when Slatas allows one or fewer earned runs, but 7-8-1 otherwise.
