Volleyball Recap: Inola Longhorns vs. Enid Plainsmen
Inola had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They skirted past the Enid Plainsmen 2-1. The Longhorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Plainsmen, too.
Inola had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 15-7.
Inola's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Megan Bell, who had 12 digs. Bell has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Graycie Eagleton, who had 12 digs and three aces.
Inola is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-18 record this season. As for Enid, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.
