Monument Valley is 0-8 against Holbrook since April of 2017 but things could change on Saturday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field against the Roadrunners at 11:00 a.m.

Monument Valley fell victim to Page and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Sand Devils. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They came out on top against Joseph City on Thursday by a score of 10-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win was some much needed relief for the Roadrunners as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Baler Reidhead and Justin Maestas were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Reidhead struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Meanwhile, Maestas pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Reidhead has become a key player for Holbrook: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-9 otherwise. At bat, Reidhead went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Maestas scored four runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3.
