Volleyball Recap: Marina Comes Up Short

If Marina was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Oxford Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Fountain Valley Barons on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Barons: they've now lost six in a row.

Marina's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Fountain Valley, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Marina will head out to face off against Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fountain Valley, they will square off against Sunny Hills at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
