Basketball Recap: Amory Takes a Loss

Amory lost against Tishomingo County on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Amory Panthers fell to the Tishomingo County Braves 38-34.

Amory has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Tishomingo County, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Amory Panthers duke it out with the Ripley Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tishomingo County, they will head out on the road to face off against Itawamba Agricultural at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
