Softball Recap: Halifax Has No Trouble Against Juniata

Halifax lost to Juniata back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Wildcats have posted against the Indians since April 30, 2021.

Madison Roland was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Hailey Krzykowski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Halifax and bumps their season record up to 5-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Greenwood and 1-7 Juniata. As for Juniata, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Halifax didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-8 victory against Newport on the 1st. As for Juniata, they will venture away from home to square off against Greenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
