Baseball Recap: Mars Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Mars and Peters Township squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mars had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 7-6. The Fightin' Planets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Mars' defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Peters Township, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Mars nor Peters Township have any future games scheduled.
