Soccer Game Preview: Irvine vs. Northwood

Irvine and Northwood are an even 4-4-2 against one another in play since January of 2019, but likely not for long. Irvine will head out on the road to challenge Northwood at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Irvine is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.

Irvine faced off against Portola for the first time this season, and Irvine walked away the winners. They didn't even let Portola onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Monday.

Brandon Maynor-Beck was the driving force of Irvine's attack as he scored all three of Irvine's goals With that big game, he's now up to three scores this season.

Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Northwood had to settle for a 2-1 loss against Beckman on Friday.

Irvine's victory bumped their record up to 5-6-3. As for Northwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-4.
