Volleyball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

Midway lost against Sherwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marksmen.

Madi Mcclellan paced Midway's offense, picking up six kills. Mcclellan got some help from Ella Lyon and her eight assists. Bella Landis controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-3. As for Sherwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Midway has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Northland Christian on the 11th. As for Sherwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Archie on the 11th.
