Soccer Recap: South Beauregard Comes Up Short

If South Beauregard was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Kaplan last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. 2025 welcomed the South Beauregard Knights with a 7-0 loss courtesy of the St. Louis Catholic Saints on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Saints: they've now lost four in a row.

South Beauregard's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for St. Louis Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Beauregard will square off against Peabody at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Beauregard is facing Peabody at the right time seeing as Peabody is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for St. Louis Catholic, they will take on Barbe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barbe's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
