Basketball Recap: Telstar Takes a Loss

Telstar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Richmond Bobcats 68-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 53-26 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2019.

Telstar's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Richmond, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Telstar will square off against Buckfield at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Buckfield will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Telstar surely won't give up without a fight. As for Richmond, they will take on Carrabec at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Richmond has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
