Ashland had won five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 6-3 to make it six. Everything went their way against the St. Croix Falls Saints as they made off with an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Oredockers, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

As for St. Croix Falls, they now have a losing record of 6-7. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

For St. Croix Falls' part, Drake Peterson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Looking ahead, Ashland will welcome Barron at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Croix Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Altoona at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
