Baseball Game Preview: Atmore Christian Rams vs. Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors

Atmore Christian hasn't had much luck against Pensacola Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Atmore Christian has given up an average of 13.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Atmore Christian is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 24th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 26-5 to West Florida Baptist Academy.

Meanwhile, Pensacola Christian Academy got the win against Rocky Bayou Christian on Thursday by a conclusive 17-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Jaydon McClure was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Jed Fears, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Pensacola Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Atmore Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Atmore Christian suffered a grim 18-1 defeat to Pensacola Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
