Football Recap: Monument Mountain Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Monument Mountain's offense. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of the Hoosac Valley Hurricanes. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Monument Mountain now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hoosac Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Monument Mountain is taking a road trip to square off against Belchertown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoosac Valley, they will host South Hadley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be the Hurricanes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
