Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Tates Creek's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Tates Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs. If the Commodores were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Tates Creek ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Tates Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Tates Creek will welcome Bryan Station at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tates Creek is facing Bryan Station at the right time seeing as Bryan Station is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, they will face off against Lafayette at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
