Grayson Riding gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Wednesday. Layton had no answer to Riding as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Riding has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
