            Baseball Recap: Pershing County Mustangs vs. Yerington Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Saturday just wasn't the day for Pershing County's offense. They came up short against  the Yerington Lions on Saturday, falling  14-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Lions this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  9-0  defeat  on Saturday.
 Pershing County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Wyatt Hughes, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
Pershing County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record  this season. The  win (which was Yerington's third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
 Coming up, Pershing County will face off against Incline at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Pershing County's pitchers better be ready for this one: Incline has averaged an impressive 6.8  runs per game this season. As for Yerington, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Oasis Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Oasis Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3  runs per game  this season, so Yerington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
