Colton Lincoln put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has become a key player for Elk Grove: the team is undefeated when he allows at most two hits, but 4-5 otherwise.

Lincoln's strong effort led Elk Grove over Laguna Creek and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
