Soccer Game Preview: Redmond/Culver vs. Mountain View

The Redmond/Culver Panthers will square off against the Mountain View Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Redmond/Culver knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Mountain View likes a good challenge.

If Redmond/Culver beats Mountain View with four goals on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Panthers blew past Caldera 4-1 last Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Redmond/Culver, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mountain View kept a clean sheet against Ridgeview on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Ravens by a score of 2-0.

Redmond/Culver's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Mountain View, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8-3.

Redmond/Culver took their victory against Mountain View in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 6-2 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
